Solar protection façade at Juan Valdez Café in New York

Full-surface logo on metallic mesh from GKD: solar protection and design in one.

The design produced for the café façade by the architects at Hairi & Hairi was perfectly implemented by GKD using an etching process. A graphic from the 1970s was applied to a large area of the Omega 1510 architectural mesh. The façade cladding fits in perfectly with the streetscape of East 57 Street, while also offering excellent solar protection and making the café instantly recognizable.
