Creative façade design: car park in Connecticut

Metal mesh façade for the parking garage at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut, USA.

The architects at Perkins+Will NY and Desman selected GKD's Tigris and Lago stainless steel meshes for the 2,500 m² façade.

Now, 126 individual panels clad the building over a large area, in some areas with two layers of mesh. Thanks to the vibrant mesh façade made from small panels, the nine-story building fits in harmoniously with its environment.
