Metal mesh encapsulates Christie’s art warehouse in Singapore

GKD provides suitable building shell with architectural metal mesh.

The entire building is clad in Omega 1520 architectural mesh, the weft wires of which are coated in a dark golden color. To ensure that the outer shell of the warehouse is in keeping with the valuable goods stored inside, the architects from 3BM3 in Geneva clad the building using 211 mesh elements with a total area of 4,600 m². The ends of the mesh were curved to create loops, which were then used to attach the material.
