Lamelle mesh panels, made of gold-colored brass metal, clad the ceiling and walls of Heimbs Café.
Some 26 mesh panels, woven from brass and up to 4 m long and wide, clad the ceiling and walls at Heimbs Café in the Schloss Arkaden mall in Braunschweig's city center.
Based on the design of the Despang Architects office from Radebeul, the individual elements were attached seamlessly to build a curved substructure. A warm-colored low voltage lighting rounds off the lively, iridescent appearance of the curved ceiling mesh made of bronze metal fabric.
