19. April 2022FILTECH: GKD focuses on process optimization
FILTECH opens its doors again following a break due to the pandemic. GKD is on board with an appearance at the trade fair and expert presentations.
When FILTECH, the leading trade fair for filtration and separation technology, opens its doors in Cologne, Germany, on March 8, filtration experts GKD will finally be back on the trade fair circuit, too. Following a break due to the pandemic, FILTECH will be the first major German specialty fair for GKD to get back in touch with customers and business partners face to face. Alongside tried and tested solutions for pressure, vacuum, and hot gas filtration, the technical weave experts from Düren in North Rhine-Westphalia offer visitors one thing above all: bundled specialist knowledge. Dirk Leibel, Sales & Application Manager at GKD, says: “Our focus is on process optimization for our customers from end to end, in both the Industrial Mesh and Process Belt divisions.” Peter Porschen, Sales and Application Manager at GKD, adds: “In addition to technological expertise, our strength is a holistic view – we rely internally on cross-divisional synergies when finding solutions to our customers’ production-related challenges.”
In addition to the opportunity to talk to experts at the stand, GKD experts Markus Knefel, Head of Research and Development in the Industrial Mesh division, and development engineer Dominik Herper will be holding presentations at the trade fair on March 9. Knefel will discuss the simulation-based optimization and characterization of woven filter sieves, while Herper will provide insights into the latest innovations in wire mesh technology.
Last but not least, the team looks forward to the personal exchange with customers from a wide range of industries. “After such a long time with virtual meetings, a trade fair is a real highlight,” adds Peter Porschen.
