Colored stainless steel mesh for suspended ceiling and balustrades

Stainless steel architectural mesh with color-coated weft wire shines in the Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall in Singapore.

Traditional and modern architecture were merged in the 150-year-old center for the performing arts. In line with this concept, stainless steel mesh with weft wires coated in Venezia Gold was chosen for the suspended ceiling and the balustrades.

On the ceiling of the auditorium, curved woven and up to 19-meters-long Omega 1520 panels made of stainless steel mesh conceal the technical infrastructure, while woven balustrades in the same warm gold tone provide fall guard protection on the balcony. The virtually invisible fixing of the mesh elements emphasizes the flowing elegance of the design.
