Artistic parking deck façade with metal mesh in California

Metal mesh façade at Samsung’s new HQ in Silicon Valley.

The architects at NBBJ selected Omega 1520 architectural mesh from GKD to clad the 3,345 m² façade.

The metal mesh was given an artistic design by Samsung. GKD used a special process for the color coating here. The artistic printing is reminiscent of circuits on PCBs, whereby the graphical corporate identity is clearly displayed and appears to melt into the natural surroundings. Another impressive example of what can be achieved using GKD’s architectural mesh.
