Gold-colored metal mesh in the Palace of Versailles

Pavilion remodeling by star architect Dominique Perrault with GKD architectural mesh.

Dominique Perrault created a new walkway through the pavilion using exclusive metallic mesh from GKD. The “parcours” takes visitors from the entrance to the newly extended auditorium on the building’s fourth floor. Perforated wall cladding and garlands suspended from the ceiling – all presented in gold-colored architectural mesh from GKD – mark out a clear path through the wing of the pavilion and make viewing angles visible that were originally designed exclusively for the noblesse.
