Wire grate façade made of architectural mesh: FIFA headquarters

Thanks to the wire grate façade, the home of FIFA has the appearance of a floating object next to the neighboring sports grounds.

The Omega architectural mesh with aluminum weft wire was specially developed by GKD for the FIFA headquarters. Reducing the design to just a few simple yet exquisite materials is the stylistic element for which architect Thilla Theus is known. Wire mesh from GKD was the first choice for the façade of the FIFA headquarters.
