Metal mesh from GKD encapsulates the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg as a classy and fascinating solar protection façade.
The two narrow 103 m tall towers of the European Court of Justice form a landmark that is visible from great distances. An anodized aluminum mesh, developed specially by GKD, gives the shimmering golden architectural sculptures their fascination while also offering effective solar protection. The mesh was installed between the glass panes of the window panels, which are also fitted with golden-colored frames. The towers are connected to the original building of the Palais de Justice via an underground passageway.
