2013 – LEED & BREEAM certification for building with architectural mesh

Architectural meshes made of stainless steel, above all our transparent media façade system MEDIAMESH^®, due to their wide range of functions, play a key role in the positive, or optimized energy balance of buildings. Used as a solar protection or screening solution, our mesh façades e. g. reduce the thermal load on internal rooms and therefore also the costs associated with air conditioning. In multi-storey car parks they impress with natural ventilation and lighting as well as a reliable fall guard protection. Their high resistance to wind loads, too, is among the functional, energy-related and ecological properties. Consequently, an ever-increasing number of properties with mesh façades have been awarded the highest class (Gold or Platinum) of the LEED or BREEAM international Green Building certificates.
