Your Tasks

The Information Technology team at the main location in Düren has the task of planning, implementing and providing new or modified business processes in information and communication systems and ensuring their integration into the existing IT biotope. In doing so, you are in constant exchange with colleagues from IT Supply, IT Demand as well as internal and external service providers and specialist departments. The management of national and international projects is the focus of your extensive and complex area of responsibility.

  • Supporting the derivation of a concrete IT roadmap from our corporate and digital strategy
  • Conception and management/implementation of digitalisation projects within the value creation processes on an international level with the aim of global harmonisation and optimisation
  • Evaluation of processes and data flows within the organisational structure and derivation of measures
  • Conducting workshops and trainings
  • Close cooperation with related areas and project partners

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering informatics, business informatics or comparable
  • Project management experience in classic and agile projects in the industrial IT environment (experience with MES and/or ERP systems, project management systems desirable)
  • Experience in complex IT projects for the modernisation of work processes
  • High IT affinity combined with hands-on mentality
  • Good analytical, conceptual and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team and intercultural competence
  • Presentation and moderation experience
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and acting with strong service organisation skills
  • Occasional willingness to travel (globally) desirable
  • Very good written and spoken English skills
