Your Tasks

  • Ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of all IT systems as a member of the IT supply team
  • Needs analysis, consulting and procurement of hardware and software
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of physical and virtual MS Windows and Linux servers as well as LAN/VLAN/WLAN/VPN network structures
  • Administration of servers, clients and applications on the basis of security guidelines including access authorisations
  • Error analysis in case of hardware and software malfunctions in cooperation with the corresponding service providers
  • Technical support of the departments in solving problems in IT systems (1st and 2nd level support)
  • Creation and updating of technical documentation and training materials as well as conducting training courses

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in the field of information technology or training as an information technology clerk, IT specialist for system integration or comparable training.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience (support, monitoring and maintenance of IT systems)
  • Pleasure in qualified customer support
  • Very good knowledge of MS Windows server and client administration as well as virtualised server environments
  • Sound network knowledge / practical experience in switching and routing
  • Basic knowledge of firewall, backup, output management systems and telecommunication systems
  • Analytical and technical understanding combined with a structured way of working and strong problem-solving skills
  • Independent, solution-oriented and flexible way of working with a high sense of responsibility
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as the willingness and ability to familiarise oneself with new topics
  • Very good German and good English skills
