Solar protection and ceiling façades made of stainless steel mesh from GKD characterize the architecture of the modern administrative center: the major, high-profile project was realized by star architect Dominique Perrault in cooperation with the Reichert, Pranschke and Maluche firm of architects from Munich.
Horizontally adjustable solar protection panels made of custom stainless steel mesh Omega 1508 have a special mesh density; views of the outside surroundings are unobstructed and daylight is directed into the building interior – while at the same time, required solar protection values are adhered to; semitransparent reflective surface for lights and colors.
Seamless, trapezoidal and curved cladding of the glass roof and the adjacent façade; efficient solar protection with unblocked view of the outside surroundings; fascinating visual effect and light refraction through the slightly offset weft wires of the Canisse metal fabric (custom-made product); iridescent moiré effect at the corners of the mesh structure when viewed from outside; precisely balanced and extremely strongly tensioned mesh panels that reliably withstand wind and snow loads.
