Baltic architectural mesh: room dividers in Museum of Islamic Art

Semi-transparent room dividers made of architectural mesh provide structure for spaces in the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha, Qatar and generate dynamic spatial effects.

With two storey-high layers of Baltic design mesh each, areas are visually partitioned and quiet areas created. Architect Wilmotte intentionally uses the moiré effect here to incorporate a sense of flowing movement. The use of Fusiomesh clevis to mount the architectural mesh enables precise adjustment of the semi-transparent mesh panels.
