An eyebolt is strung onto the last round wire in the spiral mesh. In this way the clamping forces that occur are transferred to the structure. This attachment method is only useful for smaller elements and particularly for use indoors. When working with larger elements, a lot of screws are otherwise necessary, particularly in outdoor applications to handle the wind loads. In these cases, the attachment method employing slide-in flat profiles and clevis is recommended.
