Omega Divergence cable mesh from GKD opens new possibilities for architects in façade design with the option to choose a more open fabric to allow more light or a closer-woven fabric to provide more solar management. Sebastian Rick, Project Manager for Architecture Mesh at GKD, reports, « Omega Divergence offers architects enormous flexibility in façade design. At the same time, the fabric meets the strictest optical requirements, as the transitions within a panel are seamless. » Furthermore, Omega Divergence is sustainable. « Recycled stainless steel is used in its production and the material is extremely durable, particularly in moderate climate zones, » explains Goran Rakocija, GKD Architecture Mesh Project Manager.
Rick and Rakocija look forward to meeting visitors face-to-face at ARCHITECT@WORK in various locations over the coming months. « We are eager to introduce the material in person and have the chance to advise architects on its many uses. » GKD is participating in five ARCHITECT@WORK events. The first was held in Munich on April 27 and 28, 2022. Subsequent dates are in Copenhagen, Berlin, Milan, and Oslo.
