Your Tasks

• You are responsible for our global processes of product group, supplier and risk management.
• You drive the source-to-contract process (supplier qualification) as well as the global sourcing of alternative production / non-production suppliers.
• You manage global RFPs, conduct regular supplier meetings and strategic negotiations and make the supplier selection in the cross-functional team.
• You analyze and evaluate relevant global procurement markets and (market) trends and develop and implement global purchasing and supplier strategies.
• You identify optimization potential and contribute to the continuous improvement of strategic procurement by sharing best practices (global trends and innovations).
• You will lead strategic supply chain projects and actively work on cross-functional topics such as ensuring all legal and compliance-related guidelines to secure global supply chains or escalations from operational ordering.
• You carry out supplier audits in accordance with ISO 9001 and VDA 6.3. and accompany potential analyses and risk assessments.
• You also take care of stakeholder management and are the point of contact for external suppliers and internal interface partners.

Your Profile

• You have successfully completed a degree in industrial engineering, supply chain and/or an alternative field of study or have a comparable qualification
• You have several years of professional experience in (strategic) procurement or supply chain management in an industrial company
• You are experienced in project and/or process management
• You have experience in the automotive environment as well as in the field of quality and ideally have a qualification as an auditor according to IATF 16949 or VDA 6.3
• You have a strong technical understanding and a high affinity for the topic of sustainability in supply chains
• You have strong analytical skills paired with a high affinity for numbers
• You are a team player with strong communication skills and your excellent problem-solving skills 
• You are business fluent in German and English (due to the global nature of the position) In addition, occasional business trips are no problem for you
