A large crowd already made its way to Stand B19 in Hall 8 on February 14, the first day of the trade fair. This should come as no surprise, as the items being showcased by the global market leader from Düren included a new product range for efficient hot gas filtration, the Trimetric filter medium.

On the second day of the event, Dominik Herper then impressed the industry professionals in attendance with his contribution during the scientific support program. In his specialist presentation on the topic of “Microplastics filtration and filtration of heavily diluted sludges”, the development engineer highlighted one way in which GKD is helping to reduce the environmental impact associated with microplastics.

Despite all of the carnival hustle and bustle outside the venue, focus on the third day of the trade fair was on the scope of services offered by the GKD Group, with which the technical weave experts are helping make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. The GKD trade fair team is more than happy with how the event went. “Regardless of the sector, there is clearly a strong demand for sustainable solutions,” comments Sascha Schönecken. Hans Schlebusch, who also works as a Sales and Applications Manager and was on site for the event, agrees: “Filtration technology is the basis for environmentally friendly and sustainable production. This is why these topics are currently trending and likely to become even more important in future”.
