Polyurethane screen panels, also known as poly panels or PU panels, have been a revolutionary development in the mining industry worldwide.
Designed as an alternative to steel-woven wire screens, they offer improved resistance to abrasion, corrosion and weathering, which is why these modular panels are popular throughout the screening industry.
With a long lifespan and lower weight, PU panels also offer improved energy efficiency. They are repairable and easy to recycle.
GKD has a wide range of polyurethane screen panels available for almost every application, and our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities allow us to produce cores on short turnaround times. Our panels range from 0.3 x 12 mm slots to 120 mm square apertures in various thicknesses and with different surface features.
Rubber Screen Panels
GKD’s compression-molded rubber screen panels are used in coarse and heavy-duty mineral processing applications. They have been designed to help absorb impact and to assist with pegging and blinding, both of which contribute to extending machinery’s wear lifespan.
GKD offers a wide range of rubber deck panels / rubber screen panels, from 0.3 x 12 mm slots up to 120 mm square apertures in various thicknesses and surface features. Our modular panels are suitable for both wet and dry applications and offer good resistance to weathering.

Polywedge Panels
GKD’s polywedge panels (also known as polywedge screen panels or polyurethane wedge wire) have been designed to offer the high open area drainage benefits of polyurethane and the abrasive and corrosion resistance benefits of wedge wire.
Used predominantly in coal mines, these polyurethane-embedded wedge wire inserts are recommended for harsh and abrasive applications, such as sizing, drain and rinse, and dewatering.
GKD offers polywedge panels with aperture sizes ranging from 0.15 mm to 10 mm, and material grades 304 SS / 430 SS / 316 SS and 3CR12.

Woven Heavy Mesh Screens
Woven heavy mesh screens (also known as vibrating screen mesh, screen mesh or heavy mesh) are used in many applications, from mining, to crushing and quarrying, industrial and even agricultural and food industry processes.
These products are predominately used in vibrating machines for screening and sizing of aggregates and other materials. Screens can be manufactured in mild steel, high carbon wire, 304 or 316 stainless steel. GKD offers both pre-woven stocks or made-to-order weaves, depending on our clients’ screening requirements.
The maximum screen size we offer is 2,500 x 30 m, with apertures ranging from 2 mm to 120 mm. Wire diameter ranges from 0.9 mm to 12.5 mm.
GKD offers a range of heavy mesh weave types, all designed to be hard-wearing with high tensile strength.

Perforated Plate
The Perforated plate can be used in applications such as sizing and scalping. We can offer sizes from 2 mm to 70 mm with material grades Mild Steel / 304SS / 316 SS / 430SS / and 3CR12. Apart from modularized and 305 x 305 panel sizes, we can also manufacture custom sizes in plate thicknesses from 1 mm – 12 mm.
