Spares
We manufacture, supply and install a wide range of spares for Vacuum Belt Filters for both GKD supplied equipment & other OEM’s.
Our product range of Filter Cloths for Horizontal Belt Filters is primarily focussed upon Monofilament Fabrics which are technically superior to other offerings, due to their excellent cake release, high throughput, low cake moistures, resistance to blinding and ease of cleaning.
Double Layer Weaves
Typically GKD offers Double Layer Weave Fabrics for a wide variety of applications, these fabrics are capable of capturing particles ranging from 12 microns – 120 microns.
Heavy Monofilaments
For harsh applications GKD offers Heavy Monofilament Fabrics which are abrasion resistant and have greater tensile strengths. Heavy Monofilament Fabrics are also used where larger particle sizes must be captured.
Clipper Seam
For ease of installation, Horizontal Belt Filter Cloths are joined by means of a stainless steel clipper seam and locking wire. To prevent solid
losses, as well as vacuum losses through this clipper seam, a covering flap is stitched to the Filter Cloth covering the seam during operation.
Edges
GKD Horizontal Belt Filter Cloths are supplied with heat-cut and sealed edges. This process secures the edges and prevents them from fraying and unravelling, thereby ensuring extra belt durability. For problem processes, edges can be coated with synthetic resin for additional protection.
GKD Repair Service
Should a Filter Cloth be damaged despite its stable quality, GKD offers a unique cost-effective repair service. Upon receiving a damaged cloth, our factory experts will examine the damage and prepare a detailed report. When repair is possible, a detailed estimate will be presented for consideration by the end user.
