Hardboard Panels

Hardboard panels are produced in the wet process, where wood fibers are broken down in water, dewatered, and pressed at high temperatures. This process imposes special requirements on the press inlet screens: In addition to high moisture resistance, precise fiber distribution and effective drainage are also necessary.

GKD offers specially developed screens for the wet process with high chemical and mechanical resistance. Our fabric structures support optimal drainage. This results in a uniform board appearance with high density and strength.
