These so-called ADL nonwovens (Acquisition Distribution Layer) ensure rapid liquid absorption and even distribution into the absorbent core layer. Manufacturing takes place in high-speed processes, where GKD process belts serve as transport media and significantly contribute to product quality.

GKD process belts ensure safe and controlled transport of delicate nonwovens – even at production speeds of up to 300 m/min. The vacuum-supported belts keep products securely in place and enable precise transfer to the next process step. Their mark-free seam prevents imprints on the final product. This results in long service life and high process reliability.

Solution

Endless process belts made of plastic and metal are used for cantilever installation. Depending on the requirements, variants with antistatic equipment and integrated guiding elements are also available.
