Stainless Steel Mesh for Precoat and Depth Filtration – In beer production, filtration is a crucial process step for clarifying and stabilizing the final product. GKD offers specially developed stainless steel meshes used in precoat filter systems for beer filtration – independent of the filter manufacturer.
Our meshes – including twilled weaves, twilled dutch weaves, PZ Microdur, and KPZ Microdur – are precisely tailored to the requirements of the brewing industry. They are prepared as ultrasonically cleaned semi-finished products for assembly or, in case of repair, installed either in-house at GKD or directly on-site at the customer’s facility. Depending on the filter plate, we use either conventional mounting methods or our innovative Neverleak technology.
Our stainless steel meshes are compatible with all common filter systems such as Schenk, Steinecker, Funda, Della Toffola, Padovan, and US-Filter.
