Pressure filters are systems used for solid-liquid separation, where the required filtration pressure is generated by an externally applied pressure differential. Unlike vacuum filters, the medium is actively pressed into the filtration chamber using pressure. Common types of pressure filters include chamber and membrane filter presses, cartridge filters, high-speed filters, and tube filters.
The applied pressure allows for the formation of thick filter cakes and enables high filtrate throughput. Pressure filtration is widely used in chemical processing, food production, biotechnology, mineral processing, and environmental engineering.
GKD supplies durable filter cloths and cartridge filter meshes that withstand high differential pressures and offer excellent chemical resistance. Our mesh fabrics feature precise pore openings that deliver high filtration efficiency while maintaining optimized flow rates. By using materials such as stainless steel, polypropylene, or special alloys, the meshes can be tailored to withstand aggressive media and high temperatures.
GKD also provides consulting services to help optimize filtration processes, reduce energy consumption, and extend the service life of pressure filters.
