Your Tasks

We are currently in the process of setting up and rolling out global supply chain management and are looking for support, particularly with regard to strategic procurement and supplier management. In this role, you will have the opportunity to play an active role in shaping the area and making it fit for the future, as well as taking on more process responsibility in the future.

  • You will identify optimization potential and contribute to the continuous improvement of strategic procurement by sharing best practices (global trends and innovations)
  • You take responsibility within the framework of our global product group, supplier and risk management processes
  • You lead strategic supply chain projects and actively work on cross-functional topics such as ensuring all legal and compliance related guidelines to secure global supply chains or escalations from operational ordering
  • You are responsible for conducting annual meetings with suppliers, negotiating contract terms and implementing global supplier strategies
  • You carry out supplier audits according to ISO 9001 and VDA 6.3. and accompany potential analyses and risk assessments
  • You support the holistic source-to-pay process including global sourcing of (alternative) production/non-production suppliers, management of RFPs as well as qualification and onboarding of new suppliers
  • You will also take care of stakeholder management and be the contact person for external suppliers and internal interface partners

Your Profile

  • You have successfully completed a degree in industrial engineering, supply chain and/or an alternative field of study or have a comparable qualification
  • You have several years of professional experience in strategic procurement or supply chain management in an industrial company
  • You are experienced in project and/or process management
  • You have experience in the automotive environment as well as in the field of quality and ideally have a qualification as an auditor according to IATF 16949 or VDA 6.3
  • You have a strong technical understanding and a high affinity for the topic of sustainability in supply chains
  • You are a team player with strong communication skills and your excellent problem-solving skills set you apart
  • You are business fluent in German and English (due to the global nature of the position) In addition, occasional business trips are no problem for you
