International Business Development & Sales Manager (m/f/d) in the Key Market Nonwovens

Your Tasks

You coordinate sales and (further) product development in the Key Market Nonwovens globally in close cooperation with local teams, market segment management and the Executive Board. You will be responsible for market research, trend scouting and identifying potential customers. In addition, the following tasks are part of your job description:

  • You are responsible for global sales controlling (planning, controlling, reporting) within the key market.
  • You will develop market strategies (formulation, development and implementation) for the key market in cooperation with the management (global & local).
  • You identify opportunities for expansion by recognising new areas of application and target areas for the GKD Group
  • In close coordination with product development, you will open up new applications and expand the product portfolio
  • Develop and present business models and product requirements for new product offerings
  • You prepare and accompany product launches, including product positioning, communication and competitive differentiation in cooperation with Marketing and Sales
  • You develop the most important sales arguments as well as the differentiation from competitors and regularly conduct trainings for the sales colleagues
  • You actively support our country organisations in their market entry preparations - from business planning to sales processes and marketing campaigns.

Your Profile

  • You have successfully completed a commercial or technical degree/training and have at least 3-5 years of professional experience in technical sales and/or business development.
  • You have a high level of commercial understanding and a penchant for technical applications and innovative technologies.
  • You enjoy recognising market trends and developing market-specific solutions.
  • Your self-confident manner and strong communication skills ensure that you feel comfortable in this interface function
  • You are confident in the use of common MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of CRM and project management is desirable
  • Due to the international orientation of the function, a very good command of English and a willingness to travel (inter-)nationally are necessary
