Employee IT Demand – Application developer (M/F/D)

We are looking for an employee IT Demand – Application Developer (m/w/d) to the next possible date.
The Information Technology (IT Demand) team at the main location in Düren has the task of application management – specifically, the planning, realisation and provision of new or modified business processes in information and communication systems and their integration into the existing IT biotope. In doing so, the team is in constant exchange with colleagues from IT Supply as well as internal and external service providers and specialist departments. Ensuring the efficient and smooth running of processes in application systems, analysing and optimising complex business processes and developing practical solutions as well as working on national and international projects are only part of the extensive and complex range of tasks.
Your tasks
- Ensuring the efficient and smooth functioning of all individual developments and their interfaces as a member of the IT Demand team
- Innovative further development of the operational application systems and interfaces within the given development framework
- Development work across all project phases
- Support of release changes and migrations
- Conception, implementation and documentation of Quality assurance measures for individual developments
- Technical support for application management and specialist departments in solving problems in application systems
- Creation and updating of technical documentation
Your profile
- Completed computer science/mathematics degree or training with an information technology background (e.g. IT specialist for application development)
- Professional experience in the area of application development is an advantage
- Distinct technical, functional and process related understanding
- Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics
- Experience in software development with current web technologies as well as experience with corresponding developer tools is an advantage
- Analytical and conceptual way of working combined with the ability to work in a team and creativity
- Good command of English
