Become an expert with GKD

This is the right place for you if you have already successfully completed your training as a machine and plant operator and want to achieve even more.

Your training will clearly focus on our looms. You will set them up, operate, and even modify them if required. Maintenance and upkeep are also your responsibility. You make sure that wear parts are replaced in good time and monitor the weaving process. You also control the flow of materials and make sure that our processes run smoothly. If delays occur, you track down the fault and look for solutions.

Information about the traineeship

• Prerequisite: Completed training as a machine and plant operator
• Final examination at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry
• Training period: 1 year
• Training venues: Training operation (workshop/production), vocational school
