The team

The PQS (Processes, Quality, Sustainability) team ensures that things run smoothly. The performance of our own processes as well as external ones is the foundation of our actions. In process optimization, we analyze existing processes, oriented to our own goals and strategy, identify weak points, and thus secure our supply chain. The qualitative analysis of existing operations processes and initiating improvement measures in cooperation with experts as well as ensuring successful implementation and sustainable evaluation are essential. With the help of data analysis, we identify potential for improvement and ask questions that perhaps no one has asked before.

Your tasks

• Developing and implementing the Lean strategy including the associated Lean standardization within the GKD Group
• Optimizing locations and value streams with their production and logistics processes in cooperation with line and process managers
• Initiating and sustainably establishing Lean principles and Lean tools as well as their continuous further development
• Initializing and supervising a Lean Academy as well as conducting training courses and coaching sessions
• Leading, moderating, and following up workshops
• Developing Lean Assessments including conducting assessments at GKD Group locations
• Planning and organizing Kaizen on the basis of strategic goals
• Implementing Kaizen with interdisciplinary teams
• Monitoring the implementation of Kaizen and reviewing the success on the basis of key figures
• Conducting training on Kaizen methods (e.g. WSM, 3P, SMED, LPMS, etc.)
• Participating in the Subject Matter Expert Network as well as supporting and conducting Best Practice Exchange Days
• Designing and implementing guidelines of the applied methods in relation to the existing integrated management system

Your profile

• You have a successfully completed degree in (industrial) engineering or a comparable education with a focus on production and/or methodological competence (e.g. Lean Management, VSM, SMED, TPM, Shopfloor Management, Six Sigma Black Belt, etc.)
• You have at least two years of professional experience in the area of Lean Management, Operational Excellence, or Supply Chain
• You have experience in using Lean Management tools (e.g. 5S, 7 Muda, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen/KVP, TPM, SMED)
• You have a structured way of working and analytical competence as well as a hands-on mentality, team spirit, flexibility, and assertiveness
• You enrich our team with a high degree of responsibility, commitment, initiative, independence, and social skills
• You have advanced knowledge of Office and Excel, experience with ERP and MES systems
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification is desirable
• Experience in the food industry or FMCG is desirable
• You impress with good communication skills
• Fluent German and English round off your profile
