Take over the controls at GKD

As a machine and plant operator, you are very close to the weaving process and ensure that our machines produce good products.

The focus is on our looms. You will set them up, operate, and even modify them if required. Maintenance and upkeep are also your responsibility. You make sure that wear parts are replaced in good time and monitor the weaving process. If faults occur, you eliminate them so that the weaving process runs like clockwork and is not interrupted. Your keen eye also helps to ensure our quality.

What we offer you

Information about the traineeship

• Final examination at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry
• Training period: 2-3 years
• 2-year traineeship: Qualification as a machine and plant operator. If your performance is good and you are interested in doing so, you can add an additional level
• 1-year traineeship: Qualification as a production mechanic
• Training venues: Training operation (workshop/production), vocational school
