Your tasks

• Overall strategic and operational responsibility for global supply chain management (direct reporting line to the Chief Technical Officer (CTO))
• Developing a global SCM strategy in coordination with the Executive Board and the global management team
• Establishing comprehensive global SCM and leading the global SCM transformation process
• Central contact for all internal and external stakeholders on SCM-relevant issues (superior interface between Sales, Production, and Logistics)
• Implementing, developing, and managing global projects along the entire value chain, including the introduction of new systems and processes to increase efficiency
• Identifying opportunities to optimize SCM capabilities, processes, and tools in collaboration with the PQS and IT departments
• Working closely with Engineering and Production (globally) with the goal of further developing the global production network
• Introducing global, strategic procurement including the processes required for this (international supplier management, etc.)
• Holistic analysis of SC reports and key figures to derive and monitor optimization strategies and recommendations for action
• Developing investment proposals on the basis of capacity planning
• Ensuring compliance with legal regulations and safety requirements

Your profile

• Successfully completed studies in the field of industrial engineering / business administration / mechanical engineering / engineering sciences or a comparable qualification, ideally with SCM specialization
• Several years of professional experience in supply chain management and logistics with strategic and operational process knowledge
• Experience in international companies with multi-level, international production networks or value chains
• Good knowledge of supplier management as well as supply chain legislation
• Extensive knowledge in lean management as well as methodological knowledge of modern project management
• Sound knowledge of the relevant management systems (ISO, IATF)
• Experience with change management and growth-driven restructurings
• Understanding of global interrelationships, analytical thinking, and excellent organizational skills
• International mindset, excellent communication and negotiation skills as well as an engaging and convincing appearance
• High degree of initiative, flexibility, and willingness to travel internationally
• Business fluent in German and English, further language skills are an advantage
