Stainless steel mesh façade cladding at the museum of ZF Friedrichshafen AG in Schweinfurt, Germany underlines the character of the exhibition.
In the course of remodeling an old production hall, the architects at Baurconsult chose metallic mesh from GKD for the entire building façade. The company history is to be presented in a dedicated museum here to mark the firm's 100th anniversary.
The building complex was clad in a total of 623 m² Sambesi stainless steel mesh. The industrial source material underlines the character of the exhibition. At the same time, the mesh serves as semi-transparent façade cladding and stable perimeter fencing for the works premises.
