The main building of the Technical University of Darmstadt (TU Darmstadt), Wilhelm Köhler Hall, was given a wave-shaped suspended ceiling made of shimmering gold metal fabric.
Thirty-five fabric panels of PC-Omega 1520 aluminum mesh – each approximately 3.6 meters long and 1.2 meters wide – were mounted in a wave formation along the length of the hall ceiling. The color, surface, and geometry of the designer ceiling lend the hall a special representative flair.
