As part of the extension to the traditional Logen Theater in Bergen, architects 3RW opted for an expressive façade design with GKD metal fabric. The horizontally mounted TIGRIS panels form a wave-like structure that is visually reminiscent of a theater curtain and at the same time allows targeted views into the interior of the building. The tailor-made substructure and the special orientation of the mesh show how technical precision and architectural creativity can work together impressively.
