Jacksonville Clinic Parking Garage

In the 1980s, an influential family in Jacksonville, Florida, became involved in the community and provided a renowned healthcare provider with land to open a new outpatient center in their beloved town. The family wanted to guarantee that residents of the community and neighboring towns would have access to quality care. The family realized their dream, and this important medical facility has grown significantly since it opened in 1986.

Planning began in 2018 for a new, inviting parking garage that would contribute to a positive patient experience. The client wanted to achieve a visual impact that would meet the open space circulation and appearance requirements and withstand the corrosive coastal conditions. The unique installation using GKD’s Omega 1520 product utilized 904L cabling in conjunction with T316L stainless steel rods, providing excellent oxidation resistance.
