An LED façade made of 150 square meters of Mediamesh stainless steel mesh from GKD gets visitors to the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano in the mood for the upcoming match as soon as they enter the soccer stadium. The large LED display situated above the main entrance on the western façade of the state-of-the-art stadium shows high-definition, high-contrast and bright video content. At the same time the screen made of transparent stainless steel mesh homogeneously blends in with the spectacular yet puristic stadium architecture with its integrated rows of LEDs and virtually melts into the façade of the prominent sports arena – also thanks to the invisible cabling and the filigree substructure.

Alongside its brilliant reproduction of images, the transparent media façade impresses with its weather resistance and freedom from maintenance. Moreover, because the heat- and cold-resistant display does not need any external cooling, the LED façade is especially energy-efficient.
